Meet one of our Lincoln Littles Providers:

Fingerprints Child Development Center is a nonprofit ministry of Capitol City Christian Church that is dedicated to meeting the needs of young children and their families. The staff hopes families find Fingerprints to be an open and welcoming community that offers high quality care and a positive education experience for children. The organization has a strong developmental and educational focus along with offering faith-based programming. At Fingerprints, they believe each child is unique and gifted in different ways, and they work to provide a safe, secure and Christian environment for their children to grow and explore.

Fingerprints Child Development Center’s Director, Prudence Devney, is passionate about finding ways for her organization to constantly improve so she can more positively impact children, families and staff. Throughout her time in early childcare, she has grown to realize she can outwardly impact the community with her work. This prompted her to become actively involved in the early childhood community including: Co-Lead Director of Lincoln Early Childhood Network (LECN) Access to Quality Care & Education Work Group, assisting in the development of the Peer Partnership Program, and being a previous board member of Nebraska Early Childhood Professionals. Prudence’s goal is for all early childhood centers in Lincoln to be high-quality, regardless of their location.
